EXPERIENCE THE SUMMER ACTIVELY IN THE ALLGÄU

The Allgäu around Oberstaufen offers a wide range of sports and activities for our guests:

Hiking

From easy to demanding: countless hiking routes around Oberstaufen invite you to explore the Allgäu better. Also check out the program for our guided hikes (see “our weekly schedule …”)

Nordic Walking

The trend sport with telescopic sticks. Walk in Germany’s largest Nordic walking course (beginners’ courses and individual lessons). Of course, our hotel has telescopic poles that can be borrowed free of charge if required.

E-Bike-Tours

Anyone who has always wanted to climb the peaks with a bike can borrow a mountain bike with electric support in Oberstaufen. Maybe just to be more sporty. Maybe also for the selfie with the E-MTB at the summit cross. But if you don’t want to be completely on your own on your first mountain tour with an e-bike, you can also book tours with guides in the Allgäu. This gives you security and promises that you get to know the pre-alpine landscape around Germany’s Schroth spa number 1 particularly intensively.

With an e-bike you can discover the varied landscape around Oberstaufen more enjoyably than with a normal touring bike. The bike should be fully charged beforehand so that the battery doesn’t run out on the go. If this has not already happened at home, it is a good thing that there is a new e-bike charging station in Oberstaufen – right in the middle of the village, at the tourist information office at the “Haus des Gastes”. Either simply plug it in with your own cable or borrow a connection cable from the tourist information office. There is a selection of various charging cables from the most common manufacturers.

  • free ascent and descent with the cable car Imbergbahn
  • free ascent and descent with the cable car Hündlebahn including free use of the summer toboggan run
  • free entry to the Aquaria water park (4 hours)
  • once every 5 days an E-bike rental for one day
  • 2 hours of free use per performance day in Sport Hauber’s high ropes course
  • free mini golf at the glass house (Café Auszeit) in the spa park Oberstaufen
  • free entry to the farm museum “s´Huimatle” in Knechtenhofen
  • free admission to the local museum “beim Strumpfar” in Oberstaufen
  • free travel on the bus line Oberstaufen-Steibis-Imbergbahn-Hochgratbahn and to Immenstadt
  • free participation in guided hikes
